This was what got me into the whole Phillipa Gregory thing! I knew absolutly nothing about the Tudor period in this country, and have leanrt so much from this book. I was completly hooked and have pretty much read all of the the authors books based on this period. Gregory's style is very descriptive and detailed, you are literally taken back into 15th century England.
A must read!
